Thousands expected at Hebron Succot Festival 2019!

Lipa Schmeltzer to appear at music concert, Hall of Isaac to be open. Time to unite in the succah!

The annual free Hebron Succot concert will feature Jewish-American singing sensation Lipa Schmeltzer, Sephardic superstar Haim Israel, groovy Israeli musician Aharon Razel, young newcomer Yonatan Shainfeld, and the popular kids group The Kinderlach.

HALL OF ISAAC & REBECCA OPEN

The Hall of Isaac and Rebecca, the largest in the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, will be open to the public for chol hamoed Succot on Wednesday Oct. 16, 2019 and Thursday Oct. 17, 2019. This area, which includes the memorials to the Biblical Isaac and Rebecca and the opening into the actual cave of Machpela, is accessible only ten days a year.

Guided tours of historic Hebron sites are offered free of charge. Activities include a visit to the Tel Hevron archeological site, the To Touch Eternity 4D movie experience and family fun activities.

MUSICAL PRAYER SERVICE

Bring your lulav and etrog for a special early morning musical prayer service with Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, chief rabbi of Tzfat starting at 6:00am on Thursday October 17, 2019.

TRANSPORTATION

On Wednesday and Thursday private vehicles can park in Kiryat Arba, and shuttle buses at the low cost of 5 shekels will be provided directly to the Tomb of the Patriarchs.

From Jerusalem a special Egged bus line 201 will leave from Binyanei HaUmah direct to the Tomb of the Patriarchs from 9:00am - 4:00pm for 16.20 shekels per person round trip.

During direct line operation hours, the regular lines 381 and 383 from the Jerusalem Central Bus Station will not operate.
