Award-winning singer to perform at Hebron Women's Gathering

Din Din Aviv, popular Israeli singer will join Yemima Mizrachi on stage at the Women's slichot event.

The annual "Closest to Mother" women's gathering will feature popular Israeli musician Din Din Aviv. The "HaChi Krovot LeEma" event takes place during the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur and features slichot prayers and inspiring performances. Din Din Aviv earned the Best Artist in Music award from the Israel Ministry of Culture in 2007 for her albums. Before embarking on a successful solo career, she was known for her work with the Idan Raichel Project and as a member of the band Gaia, whose hit song Shir La'Ahava (Yachad) has become a modern pop anthem.
 
Also on stage will be musician Ruhama Ben Yosef. Popular motivational author and lecturer Rabbanit Yemima Mizrachi will once again speak at the event. In previous years, Sarit Hadad has performed. Over 10,000 are expected to attend.
"Closest to Mother" will take place Thursday October 3, 2019 at 8:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public with prior registration and will take place outside the Tomb of the Matriarchs and Patriarchs in Hebron. Central Slichot Services

The central Slichot services founded by the late Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu will be held in the Tomb of the Patriarchs on Sunday October 6, 2019 with the participation of:

Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef, Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel,
Rabbi David Lau, Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi of Israel,
Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Chief Rabbi of Tzfat,
Members of Knesset,
government ministers,
and thousands of worshipers from around the country.

Services will be held in the Hall of Isaac and Rebecca, which is open to the general public only ten days throughout the years. This hall contains the memorial markers for Isaac and Rebecca as well as the shaft that leads into the actual underground burial caves.

10:30pm - Musical prayer gathering at the Hall of Isaac
11:30pm - Inspiring sermons from the rabbis on the theme of forgiveness and repentance.

Succot Festival
 
The annual Succot festival will take place as usual with the top Jewish and Israeli singers and other family fun events. The Hall of Isaac and Rebecca will be open to the public. Details to be announced soon.
